Description
In this solo episode, Nadia gets vulnerable and shares one of the wounds she’s been working through in her own life: a deep-seated fear of rejection. We are wired for love and connection. One of the most fundamantal human needs is belonging. And that is why disconnection can be such a detrimental blow to our emotional wellbeing. In today’s society, kids are often ostracized or made fun of when they stick out in any way. It then becomes difficult in adulthood to dredge up our uniqueness, because in many instances we learned to suppress our natural gifts in our early years. Nadia shares openly about a few experiences from her childhood that led her to unconsciously develop a habit of keeping people at arm’s length. She shares how she’s learning to let people in, to feel safe being seen, and source self-worth within herself rather than unconsciously seeking external validation. It’s been a long road, y’all! And it will continue to be a lifelong journey.
