“Love the James Orr episode. Well paced, informative and I could have listened to a longer discussion. But! Have to take issue with the claim Christianity was positive for women compared to earlier pagan religions. Not so - quite the reverse. There were many examples, even the norm, to have priestesses in earlier pagan religions. It was Christianity that stomped that out and cut women out of religious authority. It has only been relatively recent that women could be ordained in the CoE and still not in the Catholic Church. Oh yeah, none of the 12 disciples were women, any according to the Bible it was Eve who spoiled it all for humans.”

“Entertaining podcast as always Nick, I am with James on most things (certainly vaccines damage and climate alarmism) but he is surely going slightly round the bend on evolution and similar as indeed did the usually sensible Christopher Booker. Neither had much science which perhaps explains it.”
