Content good, Sound production poor
Content is good. Sound production/quality is annoying. Certain interviews music and sound effects are poorly overlapped over the voices of the guests and it’s frustrating because you cannot hear what is being said (& oddly these are often POC perspectives) no matter how loud you turn up the sound. In contrast, Ms Omondi’s mic is sensitive, and every sound picked up by her mic is over amplified. Unfortunately it sounds like she is chewing gum (?) or speaking in a way that generates a lot of distracting and inevitably annoying sounds that are present in all of the interviews I have heard. Maybe the mic should be placed further away or the sound producers, in general, should fix these issues? It’s a podcast after all! Too bad because the content is especially good but the sound quality is very much like nails on chalkboard!!

More reviews of The Cutting Room Floor
I literally can’t believe what I heard on the Leandra pod. Jews are the original slave owning founders of America and JAPS and big noses....basically Jewish people are the worst? For someone who advocates for marginalized people, this really missed the mark.

I’ve listened to one episode and I’ll stop there. Host is blatantly and unapologetically anti Semitic. Do better.
