“makes me cringe and I stop listening when the show starts off with “fashions only fashion show.” Too pompous to me and a lie, when I listen to the Fibershed podcast, Dressed, and have listened to American Fashion podcast in the past : all fashion “show” podcasts. I don’t know if it’s an inside joke or what, but it discredits the whole show at the beginning which makes me not trust the show. Did I miss the inside joke ? I started listening to this when it first came out and then dropped off for a while ... so maybe I’m missing an inside joke ? Too egotistical for me tho, especially when I’m working towards decentralizing the industry and empowering all people : Fashion is not a one woman show : it’s for everyone. We all wear clothes. I would like to see the intro change to a true statement to begin with to build listener trust.
