Needs an editor
The structure and stories chosen are generally good. But, the host desperately needs to spend more time and effort learning to properly read his script. When he stumbles over his words or regularly mispronounces foreign-originating words, it makes him and the Post look amateurish. For example, on the 5/16/19 podcast he consistently mispronounces the Chinese telecom company Huawei as “Yahwe.” It’s not like Huawei is a total unknown company, and I’m sure that someone at the Post would have been able to provide the correct pronunciation.

This is a great little waddup to start the day. I don’t have time or attention span for longer podcasts, so combined with the hourly 5 min npr updates this is a great way to keep up with the days biggies.

The Daily 202, The Daily and The Gist fill me in on the domestic views of the news. It’s always important to get the BBC too and, if I can, a secondhand LaLa Land Fox summary. I’m not sure why a reviewer thinks they want to be NPR or the Daily. I appreciate the brevity.
