Part of the morning drive, sometimes
James Hohmann must be encouraged to believe that he is a celebrity. I sometimes have to turn off this podcast because I am so annoyed by his editorializing tone, smug chuckles, and incessant need to let us know his opinion of the news. Maybe I’m missing something, and that is what the show is supposed to be about: an editorializing millennial reading the news while letting us know his personal opinions. In any case, I have to turn it off about half the time.

This podcast was okay before COVID-19, although I was frequently annoyed with the unabashed transparency with which they tore into Bernie Sanders (disclaimer: I am not and never was a Sanders supporter). I appreciate this program for its direct delivery of headlines and information and it’s complete lack of name calling and insults. Thank you for not taking people’s names and making them a school yard taunt.
