“I feel compelled to share my feedback, because the content here is worth a listen. But with all due respect to the narrator, this is an audio format that relies heavily on the quality of the reader. This narrator has a fine timbre, but no sense of nuance in relaying the meaning of the text. He uses the exact same tone when talking about God’s goodness as he does when talking about a mass shooting. The job of the voice talent to convey the feeling, not just the information, of the text. It can’t all sound like words off a Cracker Barrel coffee mug.”
