“I love to read Jim’s daily articles. In fact it is a regular part of my daily quiet time every morning. I’ve also enjoyed hearing Jim speak in person as he’s filled in for my pastor, David, a few times in Tyler, TX.
Jim is a talented and gifted speaker and teacher. The podcast sounds like a quick, but lengthy reading - a little hurried. And for the amount of content and complex ideas it is difficult to follow at times.
I think the podcast could be better if Jim spoke with his pastor voice rather than with his reading-out-loud voice. It’s a subtle difference, but to the ear it’s very noticeable. Or perhaps if it were done “interview style” where a second speaker asked a question between the parts where Jim has the subheadings in the daily article. Just a thought.”
