“I really do. But the presentation is just too problematic. The host is simply not a good reader. Her reading is not natural-sounding. It’s as though she is just seeing some words for the first time. Case in point: the word “hospitalized.” There are other examples. There are always plenty of them.

“I appreciate the quick summary of relevant news however the newscaster regularly mispronounces words. Yesterday she couldn’t say “maniacal” properly (said maniac-al) and today mispronounced sow. Her voice is also very flat. Better for a bedtime story than the news.”
