“I got introduced to the work of Robin Sharma in a summer part-time job at a reading centre two years ago. I used to teach the advanced class (kids aged 14-17) and we would read stuff he wrote. At first, the teens found it hard to get a grasp of what we were talking about, especially when we reached the part about dopamine, endorphins, neural connections, and the “neurons that fire together, wire together”. Given my scientific background, I used to do mini sketches to explain synapses and how one substance is released to exert its effects on someone’s brain. Little by little, it became enjoyable to myself and them and they started looking forwards to this class. Since then, I became more invested in the work of the PMA (the different models, the tactics, etc). I read the 5 AM Club (but would LOVE a signed copy) and I am currently reading The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari (yes, I do backwards haha). It’s been two great transformational years and I cannot thank you enough. Looking forwards for the rest of the podcasts!”
