Description
This week's Deadpod features a nice later day show from January 25, 1993 at the Oakland Coliseum Arena. This one opens with a fine 'Shakedown Street' - always a good omen, and I think the rest of the set is quite nicely played as well. 'The Same Thing' makes an appearance, as does a relatively rare 'Loose Lucy'. One of the highlights has to be a wonderful version of 'Maggie's Farm' - I always enjoyed the band's harmonies on this one. They close this rather short first set (common for this time period) with a nice 'Music Never Stopped'.    Grateful Dead Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena Oakland, CA 1/25/1993 - Monday One     Shakedown Street The Same Thing Althea Mama Tried > Maggie's Farm Loose Lucy The Music Never Stopped   You can listen to this week's Deadpod here:  http://traffic.libsyn.com/deadshow/deadpod011224.mp3 I hope this finds you and yours safe from the weather, healthy and happy!  thanks as always for your kind support of the Deadpod.
