Eddie Crouch – Marginal Gains to the NHS Contract
Listen now
Description
Eddie Crouch has been Chair of the British Dental Association Principal Executive Committee since September 2020. Eddie is a past Chairman of the Central Counties Branch of the British Dental Association. Eddie works tirelessly to represent dentists and patients who work and rely on NHS dentistry to the decision makers in government. It is evident that NHS Dentistry is suffering from underfunding and NHS providers as well as NHS dentists are considering their options. The BDA estimates that it would take a 30% increase in salaries for NHS Dentists to earn the same as they did 10 years ago. In this episode Eddie shares his views with Abi Greenhough on the NHS providers view of the marginal changes to the NHS contract as well as the amendments to the NHS pensions to incentivise providers and performers to stay with the NHS.
