🎶just youuu and iiiii🎶
People have been recommending Twin Peaks to me for years and whilst I’ve somehow managed to avoid all spoilers, I’ve seen so much red room type content that I always felt like I’d missed the boat and that it wouldn’t have its unique charm or impact if I watched it now. But that really isn’t the case - as a die hard Evolution of Horror/Gaylords of Darkness listener I knew it was meant to be when this crossover was announced. I think having Mike as a seasoned Twin Peaks fan and Stacie as a newbie to the series is a really fun dynamic that works seamlessly for everyone regardless of whether they’ve seen the show before or not. Sunday evenings/Monday mornings are now my favourite time of the week as I watch each new episode the night before Monday’s podcast episode. Thank you Mike and Stacie for making this weekly watch-a-long a total joy! 🦉🪵☕️🥧 Ps, bring back Catherine Martell!

Stayed for Mike’s David Lynch impressions. Love Mike’s knowledge on background and production, and Stacie levitating over Piper Laurie and Joan Chen.

I’ve been wanting to watch twin peaks for a long time, but haven’t set aside the time to do it, as a big fan of Evolution of Horror I was so happy to see Mike start this podcast! I’m going to follow along week after week, and this will be my first watch! Super excited!
