The show really is about society, culture, political economy, history and how they all connect. For example, the interview on December 13, 2017 with Barbara Fields and Karen Fields are incredible. Among all the left politics podcasts that have sprung up over the past year or so, The Dig is my favorite because it manages to be accessible and comprehensive without sacrificing on its radicalism. Daniel Denvir is like a Marxist Terry Gross.
