Is Keeping Silent Costing You Your Peace of Mind?

Description
What's Good Dimah Fam! Why is it that we deliberately hold back from expressing our true thoughts and feelings to others at times. It's like, for the longest time, we've been walking on eggshells, you know? We're so worried about how others might react – scared that they might get upset, feel uncomfortable, or even angry. It's this fear of rocking the boat that keeps us quiet. But here's the thing – the more we silence ourselves, the more we bottle up our feelings, the more anxious and uncomfortable we become. It's like we're denying a part of ourselves, right? And that's not healthy. We've realized that as we grow older, as we mature, we start to see the importance of voicing our opinions. It's not about stirring up trouble or deliberately hurting someone. It's about being honest, and authentic. There's this delicate balance, though. It's about expressing ourselves in a way that's respectful and considerate of others. But at the same time, not losing sight of who we are and what we believe in. It's a tough balance to strike, but it's so important. Because when we stay true to ourselves, when we're honest about our feelings and opinions, that's when we really start to connect with others on a deeper level. And that's where true understanding and respect come from. It's a journey, but it's definitely one worth taking. Thanks for listening!
