“I never really knew you, but we did swimming lessons together one or two years, and of course small town gossip. I felt sorry for you seeing how your adoptive parents treated you. It’s amazing and eye opening to hear your perspective, I never would have thought it was that bad. It is heartbreaking to hear you were almost thought of as disposable. Hopefully this opens up more people’s eyes and something can change. Something needs to change.
