It's easy as Christians to get into a sin confess cycle that we don't actually back up and think about what comes before the sin. Once you start looking, you'll find that both the concept and the word temptation are all over scripture. We would do well to recover and think about the biblical teaching on temptation and how it benefits those of us seeking to live out the gospel in our home.
