Louise Perry
This is a good podcast but I could not believe the stuff Andrew was saying to his guest Louise Perry who does work with sexual violence victims. He kept saying that women must really like sexual violence, kept going on about it! What on earth does he, a gay man, know about what real women like in bed! I found this very disappointing and disturbing. I am so sick of gay men thinking we should all be having sex like them (think of Dan Savage). Then he wouldn’t let her make her points about what a disaster the violent porn industry is. I don’t know why so many men have such a blindness about porn, and can’t have any imagination about the trauma it causes the women involved, not to mention the families it destroys. It was very tiresome and sad.

Such a thought-provoking and highly engaging podcast. He does a great job of talking his interviewee’s through difficult topics in a provocative, yet polite & convincing manner.

Each episode he stumbles around for purchase and to finally accept...Read full review »

I am a huge fan of Andrew Sullivan. I want this to be a successful podcast. A crucial thing is clear, crisp, loud audio quality. I can barely hear the participants in this first episode. It sounded like they were sitting too from the microphone.
