“This show is that guilty pleasure that you know doesn’t makes sense but you do it anyway. It’s fascinating hearing about the world of constructed magic as someone who only plays limited. I’ve been drafting since 2006 but have never played constructed and have no plans to. Really enjoy hearing the speculation, metagaming theroys, deck choices, ban list thoughts, and how modern changes with new cards. Maybe one day I’ll put some draft chaff together and made a modern deck, but they also say you can rent cards? Renting cardboard? Who knew? Constructed is a strange place and one I’ll continue to avoid, but these guys are amusing and I like the peek behind the screen into a world I knew existed but never ventured into. Loyal listener since around episode 190 but who’s counting.
