IJM is a global organization partnering with local justice systems to end violence against people living in poverty. In her role at IJM, Vera leads the North American creative team, tasked with telling stories of injustice while mobilizing people to act. In our conversation, we talk about leading a creative team, building our muscles of compassion, and about telling difficult stories in ways that invite people to connect and linger, even when it’s tough.
