“While I admire wanting to revive the Black Panthers food program, I am wondering if it is worthwhile to ask the government for help. Once the government steps in, likely you’d have to follow their food structure - “food pyramid “ - that is just plain unhealthy to begin with! If there weren’t such wretched politics with bureaucracies and food manufacturers, there could be some food guidelines that would be helpful to people that weren’t corporate shareholders. But until that day comes, maybe it would be better to partner with a private enterprise or a non profit, anyone who is not going to make you toe the line with policies that are not helpful.”
