“Love the show. A host that gives an important voice to those kids and adults playing football or any sport for that matter. His experience as an NFL cornerback, and as a union rep selected by his teammates along with his work after football gives him a perspective few others have. Following an ACL injury he retired from the NFL and was hired as president of the NFL Players Association while at the same time attending and obtaining a MBA from Harvard Business School. Since then he entered the entertainment business as a welcome and sought after voice for all topics especially those concerning the NFL. In addition, following his work with the NFLPA He was hired as chief operating officer for the National Basketball Players Association.
Along with an impressive resume, he comes across as a genuinely good guy. A man anyone would be thrilled to have in his home and would be ecstatic if his daughter or son brought him home. His banter during podcast magnifies those same qualities and by all appearances is real. He is who he appears to be. If you are the average white guy you owe it to yourself to listen to Domonique’s podcast along with two others. Bomani Jone’s “The Right Time” and “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz “.
Not to be rude but listen and shut up. The one thing I have learned if nothing else, is I have neither the right or the intellect to make a worthwhile contribution to the conversations on these shows regarding race and the black and brown mans’ experience living today.”
