One of the better literary podcasts out there.
The sheer breadth of interviews on this podcast is amazing: David Sedaris, Cheryl Strayed, Sharon Olds, Robert Pinsky, Matt Bell, and Lindsay Hunter to name a few. The host, John King, asks poignant questions, always with a touch of good humor. Well worth a listen on those long car rides.

More reviews of The Drunken Odyssey with John King
The Drunken Odyssey is a podcast that offers really insightful writing tips. The interviews with established writers are great, and the essays by writers about their favorite books add a nice variety to the show. The production values are superior for a podcast. TDO is well worth the download.

It’s friendly,...Read full review »
