Amazing podcast, they know their CS Lewis
Found this podcast through Trent Horn. The Catholic combo of co hosts David and Matt is really quite fantastic. Their personalities are different, but they both contribute to making the podcast very profound and insightful with many chuckles and “cheers” along the way. Excellent sound quality, editing, and length. Honestly after a long day of work, going on a walk and listening to the podcast has become a way for me to de de-stress. They are focused on clarifying Lewis’ messages, and breaking them down. After listening to several episodes, you’ll notice these patterns overlap in his books, which Matt and David understand and synthesize so well. Especially grateful for their chapter by chapter review of Mere Christianity, the Great Divorce, and Till We Have Faces. One of my favorite MC chapters episodes they did is where they are discussing Christian marriage morality and Matt starts to talk about The Notebook followed by David sighing for this cheesy movie reference. Also another important point is that they are Catholic perspectives so they contextualize the faith with Lewis’ more general Christian works. They bring in other writers like GK Chesterton often. I hope they continue to make more and wish the best for their success. They have done a remarkable job and reinvigorated my love for CS Lewis.

I’ve been listening to the podcast for about half a year and I’m loving it. I just got through the episode on Time (S1E31). I laughed more than usual but also found myself very stimulated from the conversation. Matt and David do an excellent job and you now have one more devoted listener!

I love to listen to something that makes me think deeper about my faith and this is brilliant. The hosts are so well read and their thoughts on Jack are very thought provoking. Now one of my favourite podcasts
