Fascinating but still a Work in Progress
Seems on the whole to be exclusively addressed to a younger male American audience but other English speakers can still gain from a reasoned and yet very personal history of the Soviet Union from a Latvian perspective. The subjects come most alive when he talks about periods within his own memory or that of his immediate forebears but he still has valuable thoughts on earlier periods because of his lived experience. The scripts and presentation are still a bit wonky but please persevere as the podcast is gaining in strength with every episode.
