If I had a dollar for every time I heard “well um yea… so ya know… the thing” or “so yea” I could pay rent on a Manhattan apartment. Please stop using useless fillers to end statements or to avoid further elaboration on a subject.

This is a really well done podcast looking at life in the Soviet Union as it actually was. I really enjoy the personal narratives that Kristaps peppers throughout the episodes. Kristaps has such a connection with the topics of his shows and his way of speaking is so concise and flowing that it is easy to fall into listening to the shows. The ads DO NOT bother me whatsoever.
