Losing what made it special
Brandon recently was interviewed and asked about people who have left and how that impacts the allies (himself and Ben), his response was to say that it allowed the allies to be more focussed. This answer for me was spin, and it also made me realise why the allies is losing what made it special. It started with such sincerity and (speaking for myself) I saw myself and my friends in the allies. As time has gone on and, let’s face it since Kyle left, I don’t see myself in the allies anymore. Not sure why this is but I used to religiously listen to the podcast each week, not caring about what they were discussing. Now, if I listen to it, I’ll find myself skipping a lot of it (a big long discussion about Pokémon for example). It’s still pretty good but the glory days are definitely over and part of me wonders if it’s time for the allies to move on. In short, Kyle left and they’ve been struggling to be as sincere ever since . I’m sorry to say this I just think it needed to be said. L&R

Hope they put out the tabletop podcasts, these guy are great to listen to while grinding levels in RPGs and the like. They're also great for getting gaming news. Good luck in the new venture!Read full review »
