“I subscribed, listened to 2 episodes and unsubscribed. Never thought the Economist journalist would be so bad at asking questions. Everything was vague and there’s nothing interesting or substantive in the questions. It’s like cable news. Please go elsewhere for good journalism.
The episode that interviewed the mayor of LA somehow made me few like I learnt less about him/his city. The episode about HK protests somehow was about the “violent protestors” without addressing the violence of the state. Also, is this really the place to ask a question about “the role of women”? If you’re doing an international reporting about women, please at least ask a question that shows you actually did some research instead of acting like patriarchy functions the same way in every society.”
