“I have been really enjoying these podcasts for the last few months and have listened back to a lot of the content but last weeks interview with Reed Hastings was the 1st I felt very uncomfortable listening. Anne clearly didn’t like Reed or how his platform serves up entertainment and she seemed to be constantly trying to one up him or belittle anything he has been involved with. Maybe she didn’t like the second series of Stranger things or has an interest in more terrestrial media but this shouldn’t have affected how the discussion went. Frankly well done Reed for not losing his cool!

I just wished Anne McElvoy interrupted speakers less and made the discussion less about her and more about the interviewee and audience. The other Economist interviewers do this far better.”
