“Eddie, great that you’re into Rival Sons and love they’re live shows. I like them also. It’s possible, if you like RS, there are many other currently active bands you might not have heard of who you’ll also like; Howling Giant, King Buffalo, Great Electric Quest, Orange Goblin, Elder (the ruling virtuosos from Massachusetts, NOT the Kiss album….). After you’ve given these guys a listen (who you’ll be glad to know also don’t use tracks), you can maybe get some of them on the show. Instead of Sammy Hagar and Myles Kennedy for the 2000th time. Or the admittedly Great Man Geezer Butler giving single syllable answers to questions all of your listeners already knew the answers to. Or getting Also Rans like Trixter in to fantasise about how they’d have been the next Beatles if only Nirvana hadn’t released a far superior album. Just a thought.”
