“I listened to episode 31 on initiation. As a man who has guided teens on initiatory experiences in the wilderness for over a decade I was excited to hear this. Instead, my excitement turned to cringing as it was disturbing listening to a man who leads weekends and thinks like he does. Initiation is not about your worldview or judgements of the individual. The guest completely misrepresented initiation and where in our society we can find initiated men. He couldn’t tell us what initiation is or means. His depth of knowledge was shallow. So I warn others about this person and their program. I’m even more grateful for my mentors who guided me into leading with integrity, love, and nature-connection.”
