Eliminating gaps in my education
I started with Season One, Episode 6 because I am reading a book that is set in 7th Century Britain and thought this podcast might provide good background information. It does, and it also has me hooked on learning more about the history of the Fall of Rome! Three cheers, and 5 stars.

It's a brilliant podcast that does a pretty good job of making the lives of the people who lived through these times more accessible. Lacks the passion and power of Dan Carlin but the host is finding his voice as he goes.Read full review »

New take on an important time. Solid use of first-person storytelling adds flair and keeps it all relatable.
