This podcast discusses with a successful college football coach, Tony Pierce, the absence of fathers in young men’s lives. Tony’s father was the youngest of 20 children and never learned how to be a father himself. There appears to be a generational curse operating in America and perhaps around the world, wherein young men are not being trained to be fathers. When a young male sires a child we place the label “father” on him, yet most of the time he is clueless about how to be a true father to his child. Many young men do not want the responsibility of being fathers. Where does this leave generations of people who grow up not knowing who their father is and consequently not knowing who they are either.
