Description
Brenda shares her story of surviving a Maori "self-improvement programme" endorsed by Te Unga Waka marae in Auckland. The programme is run by social workers who claim to be "tohunga." The Maori equivalent to a healer or witch doctor. After being abused and treated like a slave by the tohunga she escaped and now wants to help those still being abused.
