“Just want to reiterate that being black /= hood or ghetto . Black people are NOT the reason a non-black person who grew up in poverty acts a certain way. Associating poverty, the ghetto and hood to blackness is weird . I blame rap music but still.
Otherwise I usually love the podcast. Not sure if anybody else felt kind of weird about some of the things said or not. I know it may not have been the intent but that’s just what I picked up. But who knows”
