The Happy Camper- Finished! Will post pics this week. Couldn’t wear it at Wakaan since it was about 90 degrees everyday, but it’s very cute.
Rustic Pumpkin - HH Stitchery…On my 3rd one but I’ve finished 2. Instead of cinnamon stick stem, I crocheted some up quick.
From Fluff to Stuff -
I have plied the leftover blue merino/sw merino/silk with my rolags that I made to pair with it. It looks gorgeous and matches pretty well with the previous merino, merino, silk I had spun and plied.
I have spun all 8 ounces of my first and second dye experiments in Corriedale. I also spun about 6 of my 8 ounces of my Gritty Knits September colorway.
Fibercats dyepots: I dyed my neon green and black with dark charcoal areas (dubbing this colorway the Void) for my Spooky Boogeyman Cowl and Mitts by Sara Kelly-Grey Owl Knits.
Experimented with a spearmint-ish colorway with speckles. I love it. I may need to dye myself a larger quantity.
Ooh Shiny!
I’m still crushing on Boneyard Sweethearts Sweater by Stephanie Lotven. It’s now also in a sweater pattern and I’m in love.
I also need to talk about yarn shops I visited and how fun it all was.
While in Madison, I stopped at Fiddlesticks Knits and picked up some gorgeous yarn. There was a trunk show for Kraeo.
We missed Sunset Yarns, which looked great, but closed at noon and didn’t reopen until Tuesday after I would already be gone.
We did get over to Verona, WI to check out the Sow’s Ear.
Libby: Got some yarn at Fiddlesticks from Kraeo - Uncle Mulberry worsted (merino wool silk).
Got LOTS of fuzzy yarn at Joann’s. Juicy Couture, Eddie Bauer, etc. for pumpkins.
Leisure Suit-
Terri: Continued and finished the Witcher.
Started Season 1 of The Killing. I rant a bit.
Been watching Brooklyn 99, a bit, too.
Also, my husband and I started Good Omens season 2. Michael Sheen is delightful, David Tennant is delightful. I’m also really enjoying a character played by Nina Sosanya. She played Sister Mary Locquacious in the first season. This season, she plays a coffee shop owner near Aziraphale’s (Sheen’s character) books shop.
