Description
Love is one of the most important critical thinking skills in the plan of God. Love is a thinking skill of appreciation, devotion, dedication and motivation. Love is thinking, not emoting—personal love for God and impersonal love for others. Personal love is what motivates us to learn the mind of Christ. “For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments, and His commandants are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). Use your volition to apply your renovated thoughts to your decisions and actions. Divine viewpoint brings the tranquility of soul, peace of mind. “So that the proof of your faith (thinking), being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory” (1 Pet 1:7-8).
