The supernatural blessings and privileges you have as a member of the royal family of God do not guarantee supernatural success. You must decide to run the race, to follow the rules, to stay on course and to complete the mission. You must learn to control your volition to stay filled with Holy Spirit and not get distracted by the lures of the world or the temptations of your sin nature. This is why learning God’s Word is so important. So you have a Biblical framework, divine viewpoint, in your soul that allows your volition to see its choices and make good decisions. If you don’t, God may set you aside. “Lest after having been a herald to others, I myself could be set aside” (1 Cor 9:37). Satan would love to stop the dissemination of the truth of God’s Word. God left us here to be the proclaimers of the truth. Never be ashamed of the gospel. “I do all things for the sake of the gospel so that I may become a fellow partaker of it” (1 Cor 9:23).
