The reading never get's better
Love the plot. Very well written and good character development. Hate the reading. Every word seems to be an exclamation - especially the dialog. It completely ruins the experience and is almost painful to listen to it. There is no tenderness in Ms. Radasky's reading - or she is tone-deaf. It also seems as if she were reading just random words, and not a properly punctuated book. Sentences start, then seem to stop, then go on again. It made me wonder if she was at all familiar with the story. Ms. Radasky, please listen to your podcasts, and then listen to John Lenahan's Shadowmagic series - an excellent example of author-read literature.

Nice. Arlene has a terrific reader voice and does an excellent job with inflection. As for the story, it was very well written and organized.

This is a fascinating tale of druids, destruction, hope, sacrifice and love that will have you reaching for the tissue. Rich dynamitic characters reveal the ancient past through the eyes of a present day archeologist. and is improves with every chapter. Thank you for sharing your work!
