A journey you need to take.
About two years ago jonesing for more Godfather content after a rewatch I came across the Franchise episode on the film. After listening for 20 minutes I knew I had to stop and start this podcast from the first episode. Many episodes later I have finally come back to where I started and it has been time well spent. A vast eclectic range of films are discussed and often the worse the film is the better the show. From the outspoken opinions of Daniel to the more introspective musings of Henry the two hosts perfectly compliment each other and the enthusiasm they convey really makes listening to them bicker a joy. Personal highlights for me are the rankings where arguments rage over seemingly arbitrarily placings of one film over another. A perfect podcast that only becomes more of a pleasure when they frequently lapse into politics revealing that both of the hosts are actually decent human beings too. I did have to take a break after the Crocodile Dundee episode left me raging over the low opinions of one of my all time favourites but I eventually got over it and came crawling back.

I found this podcast through both my desire to find a stellar film podcast that wasn't too thick in the weeds in terms of esoteric pretension and the six degrees of seperation that is the greater RHAP universe (shout-out to the Real Weird Sisters). After listening to Henry and Daniel bicker...Read full review »
