Best podcast I’ve ever listened to
I’ve been binge listening this podcast from the most recent show up to episode 300 and I’m so relieved to finally find answers to so many of the questions going through my head. I’ve been a developer for over a decade and a freelancer for 3 years and I couldn’t work out why I was so exhausted and not keeping up with my marketing plans. I’m working on very short-term projects with hourly billing or fixed prices that end up lower than my hourly rate due to estimation errors, and due to the short projects I just say “yes” to everything and get burned out. Now thanks to this podcast I’ve started repositioning into a vertical rather than just a horizontal and taking steps towards changing my billing structure as well. I’m excited to see how it works out. I feel like I could listen to these episodes over again next time I need help.
