“I thought I had an understanding of the strategy of golf holes and general design techniques a few years ago. I was more off than I thought. Andy Johnson does a great job of providing simple explanations to complex issues/design features. I love how he is able to quickly lay out the strategy of a hole. After listening to this pod for over a year, all I think about when playing a round now is what advantage taking on the danger of a hole brings.
My one complaint is he jumps into the guest interviews too quickly. Not enough background given often times on the architects he’s had on.
Overall a great pod for anyone into golf on a weekly basis. The major previews/recaps provide nice variety to the design takes as well.”
