“I’ve listened to this podcast for many years as I love Justin and Assante but have had to take breaks from time to time because of how insufferable Fran is. In lastest episode, Topenga, the group speaks about the genocide occurring in the middle east not in the context of how horrible it is and how media continues to do every thing it can to cover it up and silence those speaking out but the group choses to focus on chastising people who are calling on people with large platforms to speak up. This is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the podcast, for some reason Fran is held up as an all knowing and holier than thou person, when she in fact knows little to nothing which is proven in this episode. The fact that Fran speaks about the genocide as “complicated” and that an individual needs more than months of research to understand what’s going on shows that she has not been listening to any Palestinians as they have been going above and beyond to highlight how the “it’s complicated” stance is what the oppressors have used for decades to silence people and make people feel too overwhelmed to get involved. To tell your listeners to be quiet and let the “experts” speak about the issue is dangerous and what causes genocides like the one occurring to go on. Rather than be excited that the world is finally paying attention to the atrocities occurring you guys decided it was more important to speak about your annoyance about people calling others out (sometimes incorrectly) because someone decided to message Fran. You can’t claim to be focused on wellness and then do something like this. I will never listen to you guys ever again and hope others will not as well.”

“While I love the casts the topics are a bit heady and heavy to listen to at work.
They are good but sometimes can be a bit of mood deflater during an all ready hectic day.
Might be good for a Sunday afternoon when I feel like being self-examining and contemplative :)”
