117. Enneagram: Learning About Ourselves (feat. Emily Phillippi of Flourish Coaching)
Description
This week, we talk to Emily Phillippi about The Enneagram and what it means to learn about ourselves. In our conversation, we dive into the Enneagram's origins, nine core types, and practical applications in personal growth, relationships, and coaching. Join us as we explore its power for self-awareness, navigating blind spots, and fostering compassion within relationships.
Emily has been voraciously studying the Enneagram for years. Noting the unique way the Enneagram puts clear language to the motivation behind the things we do.. and the narratives we tell ourselves, Emily found the concepts tremendously insightful and practical for her own self-awareness and personal growth.
She decided to pursue coursework to become a certified Enneagram Coach in 2021, taking on initial clients in the summer of 2022.
She has found the Enneagram to be quite useful in marriages, giving couples insight into and increased compassion for their partner.
Emily's passion for reflection, introspection, relationships, and intentional living combined with her B.A. in Psychology (...and English and French) and M.A. in Education have found their home in Enneagram coaching.
