No annoying BS. Big love for the GGTMC.
Podcasts need to only do a couple of things to keep me entertained, but the GGTMC cover those bases admirably. The main rule is don't be annoying. People on podcasts have a tendency to think they need to make their show like a drive-time radio show with sound-effects, music every three minutes and talking so fast a movie review will be done before you realise what they're talking about. The Big Willy and the Samurai take their time, discussing movies i've never heard of in great detail (one of the few podcasts I make lists of the films they mention), the guys obviously get on well together, have good banter and this shows in the quality of the discussion. I can't say enough good things about the show. It's always on my iPod, I download each new episode every wednesday. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

More reviews of The Gentlemens Guide To Midnite Cinema
Of all the shows I've ever listened to since finding podcasts this is #1 for me. Can't say enough good things about the hosts and the guest hosts of GGTMC and the amazing feedback community that's formed around this and other former popsindicate and palavr shows.

They haven't let me down yet, and I don't imagine that...Read full review »

These guys have quickly been moving up my podcast listening queue. Intelligent and entertaining. These guys know their stuff. It's refreshing that they expand the "midnight cinema" to more than just horror and exploitation.
