“There is a plague currently running through podcasts that unfortunately affects this one and makes it unlistenable; that is the untimely placing of adverts.
Why they have to introduce adverts mid flow instead of timing them for before, after and during natural breaks in the dialogue is beyond me.
It is a particular dislike of mine and illustrates to me that the host is far more interested in generating revenue that providing a quality product for the listener.
There is some interesting material on this podcast but with all the adverts cutting across the hosts it is no longer a pleasure to listen to so I am unsubscribing.”
