“Loves this podcast. The big thing about American Christianity at this point in history is that its reputation as a brittle, desperate, and stagnant in-group has crucified any semblance of faith. The fundamentalists who have hijacked MY faith, one which, up until ~1900 CE, have stripped Christianity of Resurrection, the Fruits, its mystery, its essential relational character. When we learn to ease up that death grip on our beliefs, such as by listening to this podcast, we may notice that Jesus Christ has been waiting to hold our hand.”
