McNulty, who is unable to escape Rawls' unforgiving grip and is forced to stay in the marine unit, continues to go rogue and pursue the clues of the murder investigation of the dead women in the can. Stringer hems and haws about the quality of the package from Atlanta. Avon cooks up a scheme to frame Tilghman for the hotshots that he wants to include D'Angelo in, but D'Angelo's newfound conscience gets the better of him and he refuses to take part.
