Sophia becomes gravely ill and winds up in the ICU. Dorothy is not allowed to visit her in the ICU. Stan decides to propose to Katherine, but the girls are not impressed with the cheap ring and help him pick out a decent one. During Sophia's hospital stay Stan helps gets updates on Sophia's condition. The stress causes Dorothy to think she still loves Stan and wants to be with him.
