“Alright lads, Show is great, I love a bit of nostalgia anyway, but now these days are behind us they don’t feel half as stressful listening to you two talk about them. I can remember my whole life by what Everton were doing at the time. I was Lucky enough to get to the cup final in 95, but it was after that that I really started to go regularly during my high school years, home and away. You could say I’m the peak target audience for the good times, as I’ve only missed a handful of home games during the past 30 years. Currently bingeing the podcast & just finished the 97/98 double, one of the most vivid seasons in my memory, for good & bad, after palace at home I went straight to the hospital to see my granddad for what would be the last ever time. Going away to Palace for the famous kit combo victory. And as the Coventry game drew to a close, waiting to get on the pitch from the Paddock & helping a bunch of fellas lift Don Hutchison up at full time & a whole host of other memories that will stick with me forever. Keep up the good work & up the Toffees 💪”
